Best Tacoma Mudding Videos

Slogging through a mud pit can be one of the best ways to enjoy a Toyota Tacoma – although it’s usually more fun if the vehicle in question isn’t yours, and you don’t have to deal with the repairs and upkeep associated with a dedicated mud truck.

With that in mind, we thought it would be great to engage in a little vicarious mud bogging of our own and search out some of the most entertaining Toyota Tacoma muddin’ videos out there on the Internet.  Keep in mind that all of these drivers are of course professionals, driving on a closed course (or local mud bog, as the case may be).  You might not want to try this type of driving at home (especially all you kids).

Our first two videos show a pair of nearly-stock Toyota Tacoma’s tearing through small mud holes, just having a good time.  With the right tires, the Tacoma is a pretty effective bogger right out of the box.

Next up, we have a slightly longer video focusing on every mudder’s worst nightmare – the hole that is just a little too deep and a little too steep to climb out of.  Don’t worry, however – our hero makes it out in the end.

This Toyota Tacoma owner wasn’t nearly so lucky.  His pickup is mired in some very deep ruts, and in the video comments he notes that he tried using a Jeep Wrangler, a Dodge Dakota, a Suzuki Samurai, a Ford F-350 and even a tractor trailer as tow vehicles before being forced to resort to the CAT loader that finally got him out.  Ouch.

If you can ignore the commentary, this video shows just how effective a 2007 Toyota Tacoma on stock tires can be while moving through a fairly deep mud hole.

Finally, a 2001 Tacoma takes to the competitive mud bogging track with a quick run through some thick fairground mud.  Note – the goal was distance, not time in this contest.
